If you see HTML code highlighted in bright yellow in either the Document window or the HTML Source inspector, Dreamweaver has found invalid HTML that it cannot display. Often these invalid HTML markers will appear when you begin to type a tag in the HTML Source inspector and then switch to the Document window without completing the tag.
To correct the problem, click the yellow Invalid HTML marker and follow the suggestion in the Property inspector. See also About Roundtrip HTML.
